i was at a starbucks in silverlake mid-day yesterday, and this morning around 10, i went to get some bagels at noah's in larchmont. both times, it was smack in the middle of a workday, and these places were full of people lounging around. i'm not even counting the moms with kids (why they bring kids to a coffeeshop is another q) or the students pretending to study (i can spot these peeps easily...i was just one of those :)). seriously, what do these people do? i guess they can be actor-slash-waiters or hos-by-night, but they look so normal...and so my age...and...
wait, i guess i was there too. maybe they're all unemployed mbas already looking to move on from their startup gigs as well.
