happy vday all! i used to get annoyed at valentine's day but i'm at a new phase in life where i get annoyed at the people who hate valentine's day. you hear the "oh, it's a hallmark holiday" or "there is nothing more UNromantic then when someone tells you to be romantic"...blah blah blah. i guess vday has become like really bad movie - it's so bad that it's good. three words: stomp. the. yard.
speaking of vday, congrats v! our "classmate friends" sarah v. and nate got engaged over the weekend and it's quite cute. i gave her a hard time about notifying me over email while i was in sf...mainly because she couldn't hear me squeal like a little girl.
oh and about sf, i got a funny message from crystal who said, "...i hope you're doing well in sf - is it weird that i know where you are because of your blog? i feel like a stalker." well, stalker-slash-avid-reader james, who lives in sunnyvale, texted me after reading the entry and we were able to hang out in sf. thus, i welcome stalker-ism.
let's see. so today (yes, vday) is papa yi's bday. he was born full of love and heart-shaped candies. this morn, i got up at the ass-crack of dawn to drive up to gtown to have bfast with the parentals. mama yi cooked up seaweed soup (it's what koreans have on their bdays). YUM. only prob is that we had our massive indian fob dinner last night (which was fantastic, thanks to all of you who came) and i think the residual indian food was and is currently fighting against my korean bfast in a warzone called my tummy . oh, and i had to sit through 1.5 hours of traffic to get to westside this morning...and...okay okay, i'll stop. But really, there's nothing more that says "happy valentines day" than some good ol' T.M.I.

I think it's so fitting that one of the few times I log into your blog you are talking about your digestive issues. :)
