first of all, why is "exclusivity" the hardest word to pronounce ever. just when i master the formerly-known-as-the-hardest-word-to-pronounce ever, "spontaneity,"...this freakin' word comes out of left field and gets all tackled on my tongue. (oh, and why is it "left field"? i love left field. that's where i resided from little league to high school softball and chewed up a lot of sunflower seeds. but i digress.)
anyhoo, to more important stuff. today, i got a hold of a pair of tickets to see a speaker series event featuring the former mexican president vicente fox. well, it wasn't just any old pair of tix...it was v to the i-p, baby - second row where you can see antonio villaraigosa (he introduced fox)'s winkles, fox's wifey doing the kissy kissy holas with the front row, etc.
but the best part of sitting up close? you can see that the presidente was reading his speech script from his blackberry!!!! (the same model as mine. who's cool now?) sigh, only if i had the senor's email address - i would've pinged him a little, "you're doing good, man. buen trabajo!" (is that even a phrase? hmm.)
